Thank you for taking the time to visit the official website of Shiba Prom NFP ("Shiba Prom"). We hope you enjoy learning about our history, our mission & how we give back to the Shiba Inu rescue community. CURRENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Shannon Andreas, President
Shannon has been a Shiba Prom volunteer since 2020 & has a background in human resources, case management & retail. She has been an avid animal lover since childhood & has enjoyed the company of many different pets: ferrets, cats, dogs, rabbits, gerbils, mice, fish, parakeets, hermit crabs, ducks, & a hamster!
Shannon & her husband Dave are owned & operated by 2 Shiba Inus, Odin & Freya. When she is not being Shiba mind-controlled, she can be found outdoors camping, playing in mud & driving through the woods in her Jeep.
Shannon also enjoys home entertaining, cooking, decorating for Halloween & participating in charity events for Veteran support, Meals on Wheels (& their Pet Program), animal shelters & supporting local theaters.

Erika N., Vice-President
Erika is Mom to 2019 Shiba Prom Queen Suki who is also her service dog & assists her with physical activities. Erika believes that every Shiba deserves to be treated like the royalty they are! She enjoys engaging with the Shiba Inu community, whether it's hanging out at local meetups or meeting friends virtually through Instagram. Because Shibas have given Erika so much joy in her life, she wants to do whatever she can to give back to them.

Ann was “Humom” to Shelby & Yoshi who are playing together & running free at Rainbow Bridge 🌈. In her free time, Ann loves to photograph nature/wildlife & hike with her husband (also named) Dave.

Shiba Prom, NFP ("Shiba Prom") was created in 2012 and is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit fundraising & grants organization based in Chicago, IL. See our grants page for more details. Our volunteers do not receive salaries or financial benefits. We operate with as few expenses as possible in order to distribute grants to eligible Shiba Inu rescue organizations in the United States. Shiba Prom records are available to the public.
