Want bragging rights & a starring spot in our 2027 Shiba Prom calendar? One lucky winner will receive their very own month of interstellar fame with photo & poem included. Our haiku contest theme is “Space.” Think cosmic vibes, floating fur, and possibly questionable gravity.
Each entry is a $5 donation. You can enter as many times as you like.
What is a Haiku?
A Haiku is a short, unryhmed Japanese poem consisting of 3 lines that captures a specific moment or observation:
- The first line has 5 syllables
- The second line has 7 syllables
- The third line has 5 syllables
CONTEST ENDS at 10PM EASTERN on MAY 16th. The official Haiku contest judge will be Suki, our very own Vice Paw-sident. The winner will be annouced live at Prom during the Winners Circle segment. You do not need to be present to win.
Winner to email a photo of their pet(s) to be used in the calendar. International Shiba Prom supporters are welcome! Proceeds from this contest benefit the Shiba Prom Grant Program.
