There are many reasons why Shiba Inus end up in shelters.  Some are lost.  Others are abandoned.  All of these Shiba Inus need help, and thanks to shiba rescue organizations, these dogs have a chance at a new life in a loving forever home.

 Every shiba that is rescued requires food, toys and beds and medical care. The costs associated with each rescue can range from several hundred to several thousand dollars.

 For this second annual fundraiser, Shiba Prom is proud to announce that 14 Shiba Inu and Shiba Inu mix rescues will benefit equally from Shiba Prom event registration sales and each will receive the funds raised from the sale of their individual gift basket tickets at www.shibaprom.org/2014-rescue-basket-page.html for their rescue-sponsored prizes:
