Following Shiba Prom NFP’s phenomenal 2013 Shiba Prom annual fundraising event and the organization’s new 501(c)3 status from the United States Internal Revenue Service, the Board of Directors of Shiba Prom have voted to expand the size of its board to add talent and expertise to the organization and its fundraising efforts on behalf of Shiba Inu rescues.
Continuing as Shiba Prom Chairman is Sakura DivaDog’s mom. Malachi’s mom also continues as Vice Chairman.
As a new addition to the board, Prince Zuko’s mom has joined the organization as Secretary/Treasurer. She brings significant digital marketing and social media expertise to help the Shiba Prom grow beyond its success in 2013.
Max, Zenji and Fuchi’s mom will continue to serve the Board as Director-at-Large, and will be responsible for all regulatory matters relating to our status as a 501(c)3 organization incorporated in the State of Illinois.
In addition to these board positions, Shiba Prom will be reviewing its volunteer needs for 2014 and considering the addition of a fifth board member, dependent on a match of the organization’s possible needs.
For Shiba Prom supporters interested in volunteering to assist the organization, please email your interest and abilities to firstname.lastname@example.org. The board will review all emails and reply to every email in a timely fashion.
Every donation to Shiba Prom goes directly to care and services for rescued Shibas throughout the U.S.
